Here Jesus Carries His Cross

Adoramus te, Christe, et benedicimus tibi. Quia per sanctam crucem tuam redemisti mundum.

So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. Carrying His Own Cross, He Went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). (John 19,17)

And anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. (Matthew 10,39)

Let us Pray

O God, the strength of those who trust in You, mercifully hear our prayers; and because without You our mortal weakness is incapable of anything, grant us the help of Your Grace, that in fulfilling Your commandments, we may please You both in will and deed. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
